Gifted Application Process/Timelines

Parents of current 1st – 5th grade students: Applications for gifted programs are now available online by going to The UserID is your child’s lunch number. The Password is the password that your child uses to access their Chromebook at school. Students should know their password, but if you have any problems contact your child’s classroom teacher.

The following programs are available for current 2nd through 5th grade students:

· Intellectually Gifted (Must click the box to be considered for Old Donation School, the elementary/middle school for gifted children.)

· Gifted Visual Arts (Students must complete an art portfolio which will be sent home to those students referred OR as soon as an application is started online. The portfolio is to be turned in to Mrs. Estep by 2:40 pm/dismissal on Thursday, February 1st.)

· Gifted Dance (Students who apply will be required to attend an all-day audition later in the school year.) These applications are due by 4 pm on Thursday, February 1st. The following programs are available for current 1st grade students:

· Intellectually Gifted Identification · Intellectually Gifted Identification with consideration to attend Old Donation School, the elementary/middle school for gifted children. These applications are due by 4 pm on Thursday, March 1st.

During the month of January the SCA will be taking donations to support the Leukemia Society. Please consider supporting this worthy cause. Last year we raised over $1000!! Check the calendar on our homepage to see the many fun ways that you can donate during this month! Follow the link below to be able to donate online. Every student that donates $5 or more will receive an "I am a Hero" bracelet! In addition, the class that receives the most donations will receive a pizza party!!

The Fifth Grade Newspaper Club has gone digital!  Newspaper Club members have designed a Wildcat Wizards Weblog that is written by kids, for kids which includes information, interviews, and updates on school happenings. Check it out by clicking on the link:

Secondary Course Curriculum Guide

The 2017-2018 Student Guide is now available. The information here is designed to help students entering 6th grade, and their parents, with the selection of courses in middle school. Students and parents are encouraged to look through this publication and talk with their counselor and teachers as part of the course selection process.


Connect2Compete (C2C) is a program sponsored by cable and Internet service providers nationwide. Locally, Cox Communications participates by offering affordable Internet access and devices to students and families that qualify for the National School Lunch Program. Recently, Cox Communications expanded its outreach to include families receiving services through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).

For participating families, there are no deposits, no installation costs and no modem rental fees. The monthly rate for those who qualify is $9.95 and this discounted rate is guaranteed for two years with no contract. Eligible families with children enrolled in K-12 may apply for the Connect2Compete discounted service online or by phone. Our Clinic Needs Clothing Donations

The Clinic is in need of clothes size 5-14, pants/shorts, and all sizes of short or long sleeve shirts. Please turn in any donations you may have to NurseDonna Gregorio in the Clinic or the main office. We appreciate your donations!
